Proposed Amendments to NEOK ASTD Bylaws
Amendments to the bylaws have been proposed to correct an oversight from 2009 when the Vice President of Awards position was created and added to the board. While the position is currently a non-voting one, the amendments would change the position to a voting one. This change will be voted on at a future chapter meeting. More...

Upcoming Chapter Mentor Program
So why would anyone add another meeting to their schedule to be a part of the ASTD Chapter Mentor Program? It is all about sharing and learning. Dates TBA

“It was rewarding to share what I had learned with someone who is starting out to give them some ideas, even though their path may be different. I had expertise my partner wanted to learn.” Vicki Anderson, Mentor 2008

“I was one of the first participants in the NEOK ASTD’s mentor program. I thought I joined it to help me achieve a career change but it literally changed my life. No, I didn’t actually change careers or even positions but I did go through a paradigm shift and became happier with my overall life. My mentor helped me with this process and I’m grateful. Did he do it for me? No. Do I recommend this program? You better believe it!” Sue Madden, Protégé 2008

“Participating as a mentor was an extremely rewarding experience. I found that I was being asked questions that I had not thought about because I didn’t need the specific topic before. As new questions came up we researched and learned together through the process.,” Larry Straining, Mentor 2008
