Arkansas Chapter - 2008 Committees

Arrangements

Orders the food for meetings and ensures delivery.

Nominating

Nominates officers for vote by membership

Position Referral

Receives notice of job opportunities and forwards them to members or post to the website as appropriate.

Community Outreach

Coordinates volunteer opportunities with outside organizations to disseminate to members.

Website Review

Reviews the postings to the website for accuracy and web appeal.

Mt. Harbor

Coordinates entire event from program development to registration of participants.

Awards and Scholarship

Coordinates the Chapter’s scholarship program and selects the recipient of the scholarship and other chapter awards.

Programs

Develops chapter programs including selection of topic and speakers.

Membership

Coordinates membership activities including renewal notices to members, greets guests and new members at the meeting and provides chapter and national organization information to members.

Special Events

Coordinates special development program (i.e, Train the trainer workshop) in addition to regular chapter meetings. Includes program, speaker, location, special registration

Corporate Sponsorships

Solicits sponsorships from businesses

Needs Assessment

Develops and distributes assessment to members and tabulates results to measure member satisfaction with programs and solicits additional topics desired to be covered.

Call Committee

This committee contacts members to remind them of upcoming membership meetings.
