Rick Kerner

President

Rick Kerner has been a training and media specialist with Victaulic since 1995. Rick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting, and a minor in Behavioral Psychology. He is currently a member of ASTD National and the ASTD-Eastern PA Chapter.

Kim Weissbein

Since 2008 Kim has been a Career Management Consultant at Right Management. Here she guides individuals through job searches phase from resume writing to interviewing, and negotiating offers to close. She also organizes career fairs and researches emerging jobs.

Kim spent many years as a training professional in the telecommunications industry. Early in her career she taught to Workforce Development courses to prison inmates, teenage parents, and non-native speakers of English. She obtained a BS in Education from Kansas University, and a Masters in Communications, all but thesis, from Ithaca College. Kim summarizes her learning and life philosophy with this quote:

Gregg Marzano

Gregg Marzano is an entrepreneur who started his own company, Rainmakers – Lehigh Valley. It is a business development firm committed to providing affordable sales solutions for small businesses with a commitment to the travel and tourism industry in Eastern PA. In his work, he has lead sales teams throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, representing leading hotel properties including Hilton, Starwood, Marriott, Radisson and Holiday Inn. The strategic plans that Marzano implemented for local business owners over the past 20 years can now be utilized in many segments of the travel and tourism industry. Marzano applies e-commerce, business-to-business sales calls, affiliated partnerships, and networking sales relationships to each of his customers and business partners.

Andy Cook

Andy is the Program Coordinator for Service Culture for Lehigh Valley Health Network's Physician Group, a division of Lehigh Valley Health Network. In that role, he supports and delivers O.D. initiatives for over 75 physician practices located in the greater Lehigh Valley. He holds two bachelor's degrees (Marketing and Journalism) from Penn State, and will complete his Master's in Training and O.D. at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia in May 2010. Andy has been a Chapter member since 1998, when be began designing marketing materials for our programs. He is a member of the National and local ASTD chapters, and also is responsible for the chapter newsletter. He has been on the board since 2005.

Peggy Salvatore writes health policy and health care elearning and workshop programs. Peggy holds a BA in Journalism from Temple University and earned her MBA from New York Institute of Technology. She is self-employed trading as Health Business Communications in Bethlehem, PA.

Suzanne Weaver

Suzanne Weaver, SPHR, has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry, performing various management and consulting roles, within Learning and Leadership Development, Operations and Customer Service. She received her SPHR certification in 2009 and has her Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. Her undergraduate degree is in Business Administration. She is a member of ASTD National and is the VP of Program and Events for the ASTD Eastern PA Chapter.

Jim is a business and life coach, consultant, and experienced trainer. His firm, Jim Byrnes and Associates, delivers results-driven training in Coaching, Teambuilding, Customer Service, and Sales. He also is CEO of "The Success Institute", a career development program for coaches, consultants, trainers and speakers. An accomplished keynote speaker Jim is an Area Governor of Toastmasters International. His passion for helping people grow is in line with his role as Director of Volunteers for ASTD.
