Greg Marzano VP Marketing astdepa.marketing@gmail.com
|
Gregg Marzano brings an entrepreneurial philosophy to everything he does. From sitting at his daughter swim team’s booster club meeting to leading a board meeting for the Lehigh Valley Zoological Society, he is continually brainstorming – “how can we drive more to the top-line.” It has often been said, “Revenue solves all that ills a business.” What isn’t said is “How do you get the revenues without the money to hire someone to drive sales.” With this in mind, Marzano started Rainmakers – Lehigh Valley. A business development firm committed to providing affordable sales solutions for small businesses with a commitment to the travel and tourism industry in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Marzano started his career in the hospitality industry as a bus boy and bar back when he was 16 years old. He still tells the story of how the owner had to beg him to cash his pay checks and how he bought his first car a 1972 MGB with a thousand one dollar bills. The service skills he learned not only lead to big tips, but also stayed with him throughout his college and business career.
He has lead sales teams throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, representing leading hotel properties including Hilton, Starwood, Marriott, Radisson and Holiday Inn. The strategic plans that Marzano implemented for local business owners over the past 20 years can now be utilized in many of the segments of the travel and tourism industry. E-commerce, business to business sales calls, affiliated partnerships, and networking sales relationships are key fundamentals that Marzano applies to all his customers and business partners. |
