Why Become a Mentor or Protégé?
Protégés get to
- Identify goals they want to achieve in the mentor/peer relationship
- Shares progress and accomplishments
- Learn from Mentor’s/Peer’s successes and challenges
Mentors get to:
- Help identify and clarify clear goals to achieve in the mentor/peer relationship
- Share progress and accomplishments
- Learn from Protégés/Peer’s successes and challenges
Lastly: it is just plain fun to share with other chapter members!
So what if you aren’t really new and aren’t really a veteran trainer? Then your match up might be a peer to peer mentorship—sharing ideas, techniques and future goals with another chapter member, who may have ideas to help you achieve your future dreams.
