Allentown, PA, 4.22.08 – The ASTD Eastern PA chapter of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) was recognized for its submission to the ASTD “Sharing Our Success” (SOS) program. The national SOS program identifies best practices among local ASTD chapters and uses them as models for other chapters.

Ken Steiger, Chair of ASTD’s Chapter Recognition Committee (CRC), said, “This recognition honors the ASTD Eastern PA chapter’s best practice that demonstrates how ASTD advances the workplace learning and performance profession on a local level. We are pleased to honor the chapter with ASTD’s SOS recognition.”

The Chapter was recognized for creating an online store where members and friends can purchase merchandise with the ASTD Eastern PA logo on it.  The store is powered by cafepress.com and can be found at http://www.cafepress.com/astdeasternpa
