At ASTD, chapters play an important role in the overall success of the organization and in advancing the field of workplace learning and performance. To aid you in that process ASTD created the role of chapter coach. As the chapter coaches’ supporting the chapters, our focus is to:

• provide dedicated support for your chapter and serve as your "go-to" person for any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions
• provide needed resources from headquarters and maintain consistent communication with your chapter via email, phone, and/or in-person visits
• offer solutions and lend expertise to your chapter as needed to improve the operation of the chapter, especially in terms of CORE
• aid in the ongoing health and well-being of your chapter.
