Appreciative Inquiry
Featured Speaker:
Joan Colleran Hoxsey D.Min., MS.ed.

Dr. Hoxsey's work moves away from the traditional model of finding problems and solving them. The Appreciative Inquiry process works at finding strengths and getting more of them.  Dr. Hoxsey uses the VIA (Values in Action) Strengths Assessment. She has worked closely with the Mayerson Foundation, who underwrote the research for the VIA, to create awareness of the VIA and the contribution it can make in strengths based work.  Dr. Hoxsey holds a Master of the Science of Education from Youngstown State University (Ohio) and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Graduate Theological Foundation.
