Free Study Materials for CPLP

What is CPLP?

The ASTD Certification Institute built the Certified Professional in
Learning and PerformanceTM (CPLPTM) credential to provide a way for
workplace learning and performance professionals to prove their value to employers and to be confident about their knowledge of the field.

If you have at least three years of industry-related experience and
education, plus the desire to continue your professional development
and prove your value, then consider the CPLPTM credential.

For more information, go to: http://www.astd.org/content/ASTDcertification/

What resources does RASTD provide to help you obtain the CPLP?

We have one set of the study guides from ASTD. These can be borrowed by RASTD members by contacting: dirsig@rastd.org.

We normally limit the borrowing period to 3 weeks, and require a $45 deposit to be returned when the books are returned in good condition.
Quite a bargain, since the set normally retails for $595.

We can also connect you with a CPLP On-Line Community of Practice.

Use Source Code CH4041 when you order an ASTD product

The Chapter Incentive Program (CHIP) is a revenue sharing program that offers chapters an opportunity to earn additional revenue.  With the CHIPs program, chapters share the revenue from new business they generate for ASTD programs and services. CHIPs includes national memberships, conference registrations, and books published by ASTD.

Every person that uses the source code will be contributing to our chapter's financial health, further enabling us to accomplish our chapter's mission.

RASTD Meets National ASTD CORE Requirements

 What is CORE?

ASTD Chapter Operating Requirements (CORE) are a set of performance guidelines designed to help chapters deliver consistent benefits to members. CORE consists of elements in five key areas: administration, financial, membership, professional development, and communication, which are necessary for running a chapter like a business.

Big message, slim book. The Smile & Move™ book fits in purses, in gym bags, on desks... just don’t leave it on the shelf.
