About the Board

David Kelly is Vice President and Director of Training for Carver Federal Savings Bank, based in New York City. David has been in banking for over 11 years and has been in the training field for the last 8.  He joined Carver Federal Savings Bank in 2009 to help the bank with enhancing the focus and value placed on learning, and the direct impact training can have on the company’s bottom line.

Mary Speed-Perri, President of The Perri-Group has spent 25 years as a manager of people and process.  During her tenure as Manager of Real Estate and Facilities for Swiss Re America, she directed many complex project teams, both internal and external to the organization.  Her strengths lie in communicating, team building and motivating people. Mary earned her MBA in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Baruch College, a BS in Management and Communications from Adelphi University, and is a Langevin Systems certified trainer.  She also completed leadership training at Columbia University and is qualified to administer and interpret the Myers Brigg Type Indicator.  Active in several professional organizations, Mary was Director of Programs for the ODNLI during 2006 and is now looking forward to participating with her colleagues in helping ASTD LI Chapter continue to grow and flourish as a vibrant resource for LI trainers, educators, and all organizations who value the development and productivity of their people.

Christina Falsetta has 38 years experience in branch banking, call center management, human resource, leadership development, corporate education and organizational development.  While in these positions, she created teams that were people, client, quality and results driven.  During her 25 years as a training professional, her training solutions resulted in increased productivity and focus, reduction in turnover, increased sales, reduction of audit exceptions and reduction of expenses. As the manager of Training and Organizational Development, she was charged with the development and implementation of a performance review and goal setting system. This project took her on a speaking tour to twelve different states in six months.

Claudette V Nunez is an Assistant Vice President and Manager of the East Region of Employee Development & Training at New York Community Bancorp in Westbury, New York, where she is celebrating her 10th Anniversary this year!  Of those ten years, Claudette assisted the training department for three years prior to officially joining the department three years ago.  She has supported Upper Management’s endeavors to strengthen the ever growing company, as well as assisted fellow employees in further developing their skills in customer service, sales, systems and training skills.  At the same time, she is developing her own skills by completing the process to become a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).

Linda Caroleo Jack has been in the education arena for 18 years.  She started in this field as an Instructor with Oracle Corporation and traveled around the country teaching technical classes.  In 1999 she changed positions at Oracle and stopped traveling.  At that time she was offered, and accepted, a position as an Adjunct Instructor to teach Oracle classes at New York University.  She has also been on NYU’s SCPS Steering Committee for their Information Technologies Division.  In addition to working for NYU part-time, Linda worked for CA as an Instructional Designer for 3 1/2 years, and is currently working as an Instructional Designer for Purolator USA.  Mrs. Jack graduated cum laude from NYU with a B.A. in Organizational Communications & Behavior and has taken many post-graduate courses to improve her teaching and course development skills.
