Interested in Speaking at an
ASTD-LI Chapter Meeting?
The Long Island Chapter of the American Society for Training & Development is the premier workplace learning and performance organization that Long Island businesses and training professionals utilize to keep up with best practices related to improving organizational excellence and delivering exceptional business results via human performance.
Our chapter’s mission is to share expertise, solutions, and learning opportunities that advance workplace learning and performance efforts. We offer numerous programs throughout the year as a way to expand the knowledge and skills of our members and the Long Island community. In order to continue providing quality programs, we solicit and review speakers and materials that meet the expressed needs of our Chapter community.
If you are interested in presenting at one of our chapter meetings, please complete our Speaker Proposal form (available HERE) and return it via e-mail to Socrates Sakell, VP of Programming, at ssakell@me.com.
The programs that we select typically fall into one of the nine core competency areas identified in the ASTD CPLPâ model. These nine competency areas are listed below.
