Stacy Boone graduated from OU in 2001 with her Master’s in Human Relations with emphasis on Training & Development. She is married and has 3 children. Stacy is the Training Advisor at Samson, and is responsible for coordinating and developing training programs to meet the needs of Samson’s employees. She is certified in FranklinCovey’s FOCUS and Inscape’s Everything DiSC. Before Stacy began working at Samson in August of 2006, she worked for 7+ years at St. John Health System in Tulsa. At St. John, she worked first in the Human Resources department and then in Information Technology, developing and delivering training programs for the Health System’s 4500 employees.

Mary has worked in Training and Development for over 20 years. With experience in managing online and distance learning programs, to consulting and assessing training needs, to designing , developing and delivering the required training--she has worked in every aspect of Training and Development. With a Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology from Langston University and a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma (emphasis in Organizational Development), her expertise is in business skills training. Mary's personal and career purpose is to help develop people to be the best they can be in work and in life. She has been a member of The NE Oklahoma ASTD for eight years and has served on the Board as Treasurer, President Elect, President and Past President.

Linda came into training quite accidentally when her daughter decided The University of Tulsa was on her short list for college. Just goes to show you can teach an old dog new tricks. Linda began her TU career in the continuing engineering department helping develop and sell petroleum industry training, focusing on in-house programs. As Director of The University of Tulsa Center For Executive & Professional Development in the College of Business, Linda had the opportunity to build the training function from the ground up. Using TU faculty, alliances with national and local consultants and area business leaders, she has developed a strong cadre of programs in project and process management, business management and leadership, human performance, finance, customer service and more. Linda has completed the National ASTD Human Performance Improvement Certificate and the ASTD Designing Learning Certificate, as well as a number of American Management certificates. She teaches communication and listening seminars and is a certified facilitator for Blazing Service, a blended-learning customer service program. Who knew a one-time newspaper reporter, public relations specialist and ghost-author with a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri would end up here. Linda served on the board as VP of Special Programs becoming President Elect this year.

Larry brings 12 years of training from the technical side of the computer and telecom industry. Larry’s training career started at WorldCom before becoming the Training Manager at XETA Technologies. Larry is now a certified innovation trainer, facilitator and coach using the KnowBrainer tool developed by Solution People. Larry is also an adjunct professor at Tulsa Community College since 1998. This is Larry's second year on the board and will be working closely with the CPLP study group and the E-Learning SIG.

Walter F. Hansmann III (Walt) has been conducting training for 25+ years.
Walt's purpose is to help people grow and realize their possibilities.
Walt began his training career through The U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees), where he spent 5 years as a volunteer and more than 10 years as a member of the organizationʼs professional staff, facilitating communications, leadership, and personal development training in 49 states and 9 countries.
Walt served nearly 10 years as a Training Coordinator for USIS, facilitating proprietary training through classroom sessions and e-learning tools to USISʼs 7,000+ employees.
Walt is a mentor in NEOK ASTDʼs first Mentoring program and is a CPLP Candidate preparing his work product for peer review submission.
Proud parents of two grown children, son Chris and daughter Cathy, Walt and Jan Hansmann have been Tulsa residents 24 of their 31 years of marriage.

Colette (January) Grayson lives in her birthplace Tulsa, Oklahoma helping others to develop professionally, economically, socially, and spiritually. Ms. Grayson is enjoying a successful banking career with one of the city’s community banks. Satisfaction in the professional development of others was her experience working as a training manager, traveling trainer, performance coach, branch manager and adjunct instructor. She has experienced the changing inspirations of a career mom parenting two sons in the era of technological applications.

Chris has worked for Public Service Company of Oklahoma in Tulsa since 1978. Currently, he is a Senior Trainer in the call center where he designs, develops, and delivers new-hire training and continuing skills training. He also works with individuals developing their career goals. Chris has a doctorate in Occupational and Adult Education with OSU, and recently passed the PHR exam. He is also an adjunct professor at Oklahoma Wesleyan University teaching courses in Human Resources. Chris has lived in Owasso all his life, where he met and married his high school sweetheart. They have two children and three wonderful grandchildren.

Vicki Anderson is an outstanding business consultant, trainer, professional speaker, and author. She works with people to develop leadership skills that matter for peak performance in their teams. Vicki has had a successful impact on the leadership in all types of businesses - from small manufacturers to corporate giants to nonprofit organizations. Vicki has a Masters Degree in HRD from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelors Degree in Speech from the University of Wisconsin. In addition to eleven years as an independent consultant, she spent three years with The NORDAM Group, an international aerospace company, where she developed and directed their corporate university. Vicki also has six years experience in human resource management with a major multi- division manufacturing company both at a manufacturing plant and at corporate. Her experience includes recruiting for a new plant start-up, coaching supervisors on appropriate actions with employees, and providing advice to other human resource managers in the divisions.

Myra is a native of Wichita KS. She was employed with the Wichita Public Schools for 20 years, and then decided to explore the corporate world. In 1998, she became employed with Koch Industries. Previous roles included: Executive Assistant, Project Administrator, and Staffing Coordinator. In June 2000, she transferred to Tulsa, and is currently the School Administrator/Coordinator/Train-the-Trainer for the John Zink Institute/John Zink Co LLC (a Koch Chemical Technology Group, LLC Co).
Myra is a graduate from Wichita State University, BA in Speech Communications. She has served on various professional boards and committees in Wichita, but is fairly new to professional training and ASTD. Since 2000, she has received her ASTD Training Certificate and Training Generalist Certificate from Langevin Learning Services and is looking forward to future development, inspiration, connecting, higher education and improving her market value with ASTD.
Andrew has worked in the field of Training and Development since the mid 90’s when he worked on a project to introduce National Vocational Qualifications into a Department of the UK Government. In 1996, Andrew qualified through the Institute of Personal Development as an internal verifier and assessor for customer service, management and administration NVQ’s. In the late 90’s, he made connections with FW Murphy, a Tulsa based, family owned company with a facility in the UK, in regards to vocational based training. In January 2001, Andrew moved to Tulsa to take up the position of Training Manager with FW Murphy. His key role is in the development of training programs to meet business requirements, the main areas of focus are in building teams, developing a customer service culture and supporting the process of continuous improvement. Andrew became involved with ASTD in 2003 and has served on the board as the Marketing Chair, President and now as Presidential Advisor.

Sue Madden has a BA in Sociology from Texas Christian University, a BS in Education from North Texas State University and a Certificate of Achievement, Management Internship Option from Tulsa Community College. Early in her career, she taught in the secondary school systems of Ft. Worth, TX and Shreveport, LA. After exploring positions in various industries, Sue took a job with St. John Medical Center in 1991. Her role changed in 2000 to include the development and organization of department knowledge and the provision of new-hire orientations, in-services and real time training within the department of Radiology.
She joined ASTD in January 2008 and was an excited member completing the 1st NEOK Mentor Program. This is the first year for the position of Director of Awards and Recognition. Sue will be developing and implementing proposals for implementation of this program.
