Dear Chapter Members and Friends,

Thank you for being a part of the Northeast Oklahoma Chapter! We appreciate your continued support of and commitment to the chapter programs and events. If you are not already a member, I strongly encourage you to join so that you too can take advantage of the local and national resources available to members.  Online research, T & D magazine, and international networking are just a few of the many advantages of National ASTD membership...couple that with our Northeast Oklahoma Chapter's professional mentoring and networking opportunities, high quality and timely programs and job postings, and you have a well-rounded, powerful combination.

Special thanks to the conference committee - Chris Woodard, Linda Adlof, Mary Sirkel and Larry Straining from NEOK and Brian Perryman, Jogeina Johnson, Lisa Ellington and Art Atkinson from Central OK - as well as sponsors, vendors, speakers, volunteers and all attendees who helped make the 2009 Oklahoma ASTD Conference a success!  We are already looking forward to 2010 conference, tentatively scheduled in October in Oklahoma City.  Mark you calendars!

Members - Please consider becoming a part of the energy and excitement of the chapter committees.  Current opportunities for involvement include Marketing (contact Colette Grayson), Membership (contact Walt Hansmann), Programs (contact Pauline Harris), Communications (contact Larry Straining) and Awards (contact Sue Madden).

We will offer an opportunity to learn more about these committees and upcoming projects at the next Chapter Meeting on November 13th.  We would love to have your help in kicking off 2010!

Remember that this will be our last chapter meeting for 2009.  Consequently, we will also be presenting and voting on the Proposed 2010 Board of Directors to lead us into 2010.
