Avoiding Employee Burnout

Mark Kiefaber, co-founder of Focus Leadership, LLC will provide a background on burnout, noting the main factors leading up to it and what the cost is for both the person and the companies they work for. In addition, he will describe how to cope with burnout or avoid it altogether.

About the Presenter:

Mark Kiefaber, co-founder of Focus Leadership, LLC, brings 25 years of experience in leadership coaching and development. Mr. Kiefaber has also co-developed the Focus Energy Balance Indicator (FEBI), a cutting edge psycho-metric instrument that measures the four fundamental energy patterns of personality. In addition to his work with Focus Leadership, Mr. Kiefaber is also a core faculty member of Oliver Wyman's Delta Executive Learning Center, and has been an adjunct faculty member of Columbia University's Executive Program for 15 years.

In the early 1990's he was a consultant with W. Warner Burk Associates, Inc. and, prior to that, a senior associate at The Center for Creative Leadership. Mr. Kiefaber graduated from Loyola College in Maryland with B.A. and M.A degrees in Clinical Psychology.
