Position Objective:

 

The Learning Analyst 2 is responsible for successful design, development, management and delivery of advanced learning solutions. This role facilitates advanced level learning activities by working collaboratively with other Learning and Development team members to design learning solutions.  The Learning Analyst 2 leads advanced projects from start to finish and may manage several projects at a time.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Instructional Design

  • Develops  aesthetic, well-designed advanced learning activities for a variety of delivery methods including eLearning, instructor-led, job aids and reference materials using standard and innovative learning activity development tools
  • Creates design concepts for learning activities including approach and materials
  • Designs and delivers train-the-trainer sessions for advanced content
  • Establishes learning objectives, gathers information, researches and partners with SMEs as needed
  • Approves learning content at key project milestones and edits content for accuracy
  • Monitors and evaluates learning activity evaluation data, diagnoses gaps and opportunities and implements changes
  • Evaluates his/her own content for accuracy, functionality and quality

 

Project Management and Activity Implementation

  • Create and lead advanced learning design projects including project plans, communication required for project, and project budget lines
  • Conducts non-standard evaluation of learning activities
  • Conducts ongoing audit of current learning activities to ensure most effective methods are used, and content is current and delivered in the most efficient and effective manner

 

Learning Activity Facilitation

  • Facilitates advanced learning activities in the classroom and uses virtual delivery media.
  • Facilitates advanced techniques including role playing, simulations and self-discovery
  • Facilitates unstructured and ad hoc learning activities

 

Learning & Development Leadership

  • Provides guidance for other members of the learning team regarding instructional design, facilitation and project management
  • Stays current with innovative instructional design techniques, applies learning approaches and industry best practices and shares this information with the Learning and Development team

 

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Learning and Development Curriculum Design and Implementation
  • Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent
  • Experience with leading eLearning and Instructor Led projects from start to finish
  • Demonstrated expertise of instructional design, training techniques and tools, and information delivery mechanisms
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize and effectively manage multiple complex projects concurrently and develop in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to establish partnerships with senior level business partners
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products:  PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in learning design tools (Articulate, Captivate)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a project team from concept to the final deliverables

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Successful design and delivery across geographically dispersed audience groups
  • Advanced degree and/or certifications in adult learning or equivalent
