Welcome to ASTD Utah.  ASTD (American Society for Training & Development) is the world’s largest association dedicated to workplace learning and performance professionals.  ASTD supports members in more than 100 countries, 140 U.S. chapters and 24 Global Networks.  We work in organizations of all sizes, in government, as independent consultants, and suppliers. 

 ASTD started in 1944 when the organization held its first annual conference. ASTD has widened the profession's focus to link learning and performance to individual and organizational results, and is a sought-after voice on critical public policy issues.

 At a local level, the Utah Chapter serves the workplace learning (training and HR) community in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas by providing a clearinghouse for information, opportunities, and networking.  Our monthly meetings offer the workplace learning professional a wide variety of topics and information they can use for their own development.  The new portal and October conference are additional ways we connect and add value to our members.  We are continuing to look for ways to increase the value we provide the members of ASTD Utah.  We are constantly surveying our membership to ensure the programs we offer will meet your needs.  If you have any suggestions, comments or concerns, please send an e-mail to me at astdadmin@astdutah.org.
