Who could have imagined that volunteering to work on the Utah Chapter 2004 Annual Training & Development EXPO would lead to an ASTD National leadership opportunity in just three short years.  As a relative newcomer to the WLP profession, I have a lot to learn and I hope alot to offer as I integrate my previous experience and education with this dynamic and challenging profession called workplace learning.  One thing is certain, serving the Chapter as a volunteer leader has enabled me to grow personally and professionally.   I am particularly inspired by the community of volunteer friends who I have come to admire and respect for their commitment to our Utah Chapter.  Tony Bingham, President and CEO says it best, "BE A PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER."  Utah Chapter Membership has grown by 50% in 2007.  Get involved and experience first-hand how learning by volunteering can take you places YOU never imagined.
