The Eastern PA chapter of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) presented a free program on Monday, June 30, 2008 from 8:00 – 10:00 AM at the Pocono Medical Center. | National Chapter of the Month |
In June 2007, we were selected as National Chapter of the Month!
ASTD National likes to highlight the chapters that SHINE! And even though we may be one of the smaller chapters in the nation, we are shining brightly on the national stage.
For June 2007, the Eastern PA Chapter has been recognized as “Chapter of the Month.” This designation involves meeting several requirements including:
- Having an SOS (Sharing Our Success) Submission accepted – Eastern PA has had two!
- Being “CORE” compliant – Chapter Operating Requirements
- Being seen as an innovative chapter! (for example, our CEO Forum)
What does this mean for our chapter? Well, for one, it’s additional recognition including a profile on the ASTD National homepage! As Chapter of the Month, Eastern PA also received:
- $ 500 cash prize
- CPLP Learning system
- Letter from Tony Bingham, ASTD’s CEO
