Thank you for visiting our website and your interest in our Mid NJ ASTD Chapter! And thank you for continuing to support our chapter by attending the monthly Chapter, Sales Training and Technology PDN (Professional Development Network) special interest group meetings.

We need you! We ask that you consider volunteering to support the chapter in a committee leadership or helper role. We’re doing so much and it’s exciting but there’s much more to do. Volunteering better enables you to achieve what our members say are the two primary reasons they joined the chapter; 1) Extend their professional network and 2) Keep up with learning trends. How are we doing? Local and national metrics indicate that our chapter is doing well. We’re getting high marks on our Chapter and PDN monthly meetings; both in the quality of the programs and the relevancy. By rolling meeting fees back to those charged three years ago, we’ve not only reduced your outlay, but attendance has increased. This speaks to our goals associated with both trends and networking goals. Membership is holding steady in spite of turbulent employment times. We’re hearing that the many changes we’re making in communications are positive and that we’re moving in the right direction. This new website is another step in our communications improvement direction. The chapter is financially sound and continually improving. The one thing we need more of is you. So, please come to our meetings more often, volunteer your talents and time and join us in the fun associated with meeting more people, sharing ideas and creating energy around our profession.

Metrics: We achieved CORE results for all of 2008, we were selected by National ASTD as the Chapter of the Month in May (a first for the Mid NJ Chapter) and we are first in the nation in percentage of combined local and national members. Our internal chapter goals are ahead of target so far this year and the board of directors are working hard on your behalf. Come join the fun!
