Area trainers and developers have a unique opportunity to learn how to successfully conduct instructor-led virtual training.

It’s all happening Wednesday, July 21, when attendees of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) meet for dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn in South Fort Myers.  Time: 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Location: NE Corner of Summerlin Road and College Parkway; Zip 33907.

Presenter will be Janet Franzese, Career Coach and Owner, Grindstone Development, Inc., of Fort Myers. As an expert who conducts virtual training as far away as India, Janet will present “Beyond the Webinar: Virtual Instructor-Led Training.”

During the session, she will explain virtual training, show how it works, discuss its pros and cons, and define needed skills.  To cap off the evening, attendees will experience a mini training session.
